Highland Manor is conveniently located in the central
Mid-town Memphis area. We are a not for profit, Christian
based facility with space for 180 residents receiving
24 hour nursing care. Our medical director is a Geriatric
Specialist. Wesley's Pastoral
Care staff is especially attentive to residents
in nursing care, as the transition from home or hospital
is such an emotional challenge. Our pastors are on call
to residents' families as well, to counsel on ways to
make this time of their lives easier to manage.
We have two enclosed areas for the residents' use.
One is an enclosed patio; the other a is large garden
with paved walkways and landscaping. Our residents especially
enjoy the outdoor furnishings: swings, garden statuary
and art and seasonal flowers. Residents participate
in many and varied activities 7 days a week. There are
specialized diets as required by individual residents.
Many services address psychological/psychiatric, physical,
speech and occupational therapy needs. Both dental and
vision services are available. Medicaid is available
to those who meet medical and financial criteria.
Our mission and ministry leads us to celebrate each
individual's unique qualities. We mutually "care"
for each other whether we are staff, residents or family
members. It takes all of us working and communicating
together to gain the best possible outcome for each
of our residents.

Highland Manor represents many years of Nursing Care
in Memphis. Our staff work daily to provide compassion
and caring for many who need nursing care twenty four
hours per day. No one ever “plans” to place
their loved one in a Nursing Home, but when it becomes
necessary, Wesley Highland Manor is there providing
the services and care needed. Our staff are truly a
community of caring individuals there for the resident
and their family at any time."
